Back to classes during COVID

Olá!

3rd and final year of my BA TV Production course at Bournemouth University. COVID - the word in everybody's mouths, and the thought in everyone's mind - struck the world in 2019, and England back in March 2020, isn't yet any close to a resolution. It has been a worldwide display of errors and inconsistencies.

A troubled start to my second final academic year, with a serious concern about my future in the TV world. After 7 months of isolation and social distancing, a lack of motivation surfaces. And obviously at the start of my last academic year that is not the ideal scenario. The fact that I am sitting at my desk over a computer everyday either on classes, or online events, is being difficult to handle. The amount of time and resources that have been put on this are beyond count and the question in my mind is: is it worth it?

But we, humans as a species, are resilient and we will survive. It will get better, and we will survive a pandemic, for the second time. For now, we just have to try our best, be kind and put on the "zen mode", as my father calls it.

So, here we go!

Plans for the year:

1. become proficient on ProTools, Avid, Premiere, After Effects,

2. master my great DSLR camera,

3. get a microphone and start building a sound library,

4. learn motion tracking animation,

5. learn to play the guitar,

6. paint,

7. draw.

Best get to work.

Este ano promete.
